Talib- Beautiful struggle
Nas- Street's Disciple
Ghostface- Pretty Toney Album
Mos Def- New Danger

Not saying these albums were bad, but I just had really high expectations for them, considering the precedent.

If there's one album to really talk about, it's Talib's Reflection Eternal with Hi-Tek.

Ya, Beautiful Struggle wasn't what I was hoping for, but there are still a few classics on it. Like 'Around My Way' and 'Ghetto Show'

Everybody get Danger Doom 'The Mouse and The Mask' on Oct 10. Danger Mouse and MF Doom....sickness. There are guest spots by Ghostface, Cee-Lo, Talib, and of course, The Aqua Teen Hunger Force. I've almost played this album out before it's release.

Also, I don't listen to Jay-Z much, but I think he has said something like "if truth be told, I'd wanna rap like Talib Kweli..." and ya, Eternal Reflection is probably Talib's best. I like Quality too tho. Now I'm wanting a sort of black star type album with Talib and Doom. Mos Def is cool but Doom is taking over. Mos Def is too busy being a actor?!!?

the best rapper is the person who made the best hip hop album ever illmatic by nas. no rapper can ever make a cd like illmatic. if anybody don't think illmatic is the best hip hop album ever, f**k you. you don't know nothing about rap. even today he the best with albums like stillmatic, god son, the lost tapes, street disciple.

top 5 best rappers today
nas (the king)
jadakiss (underrated)
eminem (don't hate cause he's white)
az (real hip hop fans should know about him)

50 cent (overrated) just tight dre beats
cam'ron (100% weak)
ja rule (annoying voice)
bow wow (lil ja rule with love songs)
everybody from g unit (banks is the best one)
