In this thread post about one thing that you think is overrated and one thing that you think is underrated. It doesn't simply have to be bands, it can be any aspect of music.

^slap bass is as boring as hell. There is not a shred of emotion in that 'solo'. That being said...

I'm also a bass player.
Yes guitar solos sound cooler, but I love hearing a good bass solo in a RATM or Primus song, it ties everything together and sounds great IMO.
