Register Copyright for $5
Hey guys
While doing my research I came across this new organization that registers copyright, all on-line, for $15. The website is www.icpr.org The International Copyright Protection Registry. Right now they have a special promotion going on, free lifetime memberships and they are offering a $10 discount on registrations, so you can register 15mb of work for $5 when you enter the access code 2626...I think this is because they are still in their Beta testing stage. Not only do they register copyright for a fraction of the cost of all their competitors, they also have a directory of contact information to hundreds of industry venues across Canada, from radio stations to music studios, and a news forum about copyright and the arts industry. This site is really cool. If you are serious about your copyright, check it out. Thanks for all your help Malik |

If you are trying to copywrite lyrics or band names, music whatever, heres a little trick that I heard will hold up in court if you ever need to.
1. Put whatever you want copywritten in an envelope, go down to the post office and send it to yourself as a certified letter. They will seal it and stamp it with their "official Post Office" stamp. When you receive it dont open it, just sign for it. Theres the proof you need that you wrote these lyrics/music whatever. The envelope will be dated and if anybody tries to claim rights to the content after the date stamped, theyre screwed.
