I haven't listened to Faith No More in years!
So I'd be more excited if they were to reunite for a new album.

If Jim Martin is part of it I will shell out the $500 airfare just to see them.

You'd shell out $500 for airfare to see Jim Martin? How about Mark Bowen instead?

Honestly, I probably would as well.

Very cool news. The atmosphere alone would almost make it worth the trip.

They are fecking great live too. Saw them twice on 'The Real Thing' tour both in small sweaty venues. Good times.

i'd like to be excited about this but i can't think of a single reunion that didn't diminish my views on a band.

it was great while it lasted but nothing lasts forever, let it be over.

This is a pretty good point. Mike Patton seems like he's so busy all the time I'm surprised he'd be up for something like this. Unless maybe he isn't and they're getting Chuck Mosely instead.

i wouldn't be surprised by anything the band tries to pull. i could see them trying to tour with mosley but i highly doubt it would be more than a one off event with patton.

last i heard was patton was working on a new fantomas disc which was supposed to be an entirely solo electronic project this time around. with the attitude he presents towards the past i'd be really surprised to hear he's putting aside a current project to fellate the corpse of a long dead 'paying the bills' band.

also. where's the source for this rumour? i suppose the fact that patton is slated to perform with rahzel is enough for the fanboys to start frothing at the bit.
