Default Elton John + Billy Joel tour 2009

Alright, so I was chillin with my grandma one day, and then at point in our conversation, she brought up that Elton John and Billy Joel were coming to town in one tour. Apparently, they will open with dualing pianos and duets.
Of course I spazzed, and now am saving money to get tickets now.

Seems like the show of the year. Any attendees?

That actually sound slike it would be a really freaking fun show - especially if they do a 'duelling' piano sorta thing, maybe play a few of each others songs - but I could see how that would have scope to be a truly enjoyable memorable night of two legendary pop piano singer / songwriters...

Honestly, to me, that sounds like hell between two pieces of toast.

I'd have probably said that a few years ago, then I just decided to loosen up and realise there's more to music than my little circle of favorite dark broody bands...lol

Holy crap this would have beeen so fucking awesome twenty years ago and without Elton John, but come on people. As great as I think Billy Joel is, running out of money is NO FUCKING REASON to come out of retirement.

Didn't they already do this about 15 or so years ago anyway?

I sincerely hope they don't advertise this on NPR or my mother is going to force me to buy tickets for this fucking thing.
