Default For the few of us who actually love music....

...here are some posts about actually liking music, rather than slagging groups off or containing any petty arguments which the majority of posts do these days:

http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...ook-1960s.html TheCellarTapes interesting journal on 60's albms that he loves and that you may or may not have heard before.

http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...c-library.html JJJ reviewing random albums as he re-adds them back to his collection.

http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...-costello.html Bulldog's fantastic guide and review of Elvis Costello's work.

http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...nes-today.html Jackhammer talks about random albums that you probably have never heard of before

http://www.musicbanter.com/general-m...ms-thread.html More albums reviewed by jackhammer that you probably haven't listened to because it takes away precious radiohead time.

http://www.musicbanter.com/general-m...ans-boots.html Urban offers to upload some great bootlegs on request

http://www.musicbanter.com/general-m...ve+about+music Jackhammer's 100 things he loves about music, definitely a thread that needs continuing.

Everyone on this forum loves music, some are just more intelligent than others.

Add to this:

http://www.musicbanter.com/album-rev...aves-55-a.html

http://www.musicbanter.com/album-rev...t-op-25-a.html

Two lists that are incredible so far and deserve recognition.

well I'd say I had my share of slagging groups, but the truth is that it's hard to find those posts which are worth following, so this post is a good idea. maybe that's an improvement for the forum? maybe the mods filtering the posts on their own...I don't know if u do that already, it's just a thought.

I agree that theres a lack of positive threads.

I have been wanting to do my own spin on the top 100, but I kept putting it off, I think I like too much of the music that this forum hates.

That sounds too much like an Alien Ant Farm album.
