I agree on Ozzy, although I too enjoy his vocals ..
I don't really think Andrew Eldritch is a good singer, but I like him too.

I saw him sing a lullabye to Elmo on Sesame Street... oh the joys of watching TV with your kids when you are a parent...

Oversinging really does suck though - I am so sick and tired of singers drawing out the end of words into vocal gymnastic demonstrations of their virtuosity. It's damn boring and it just craps all over the intent of the song half the time. It's just a great big showing off session to show how wonderful the artists vocal style is, and it turns music into some sort of sporting competition where listeners expect singers to out sing the last person. It sucks.
And thats what I really feel.
