I agree. American Idol contestants technically know how to sing for themselves, but they don't know how to sing for a song. It's really just showing off.

Lil Wayne, T-Pain, well actually 95% of rappers ( i know rapping is technically not singing but still)

no...i know a LOT of people who sing decently but cant rap worth **** (me being one of them). rap is definitely a gift you're born with or something you REALLY have to work on to get good at.
