I know right, Bright Eyes sound changes quite a bit and not for the better sadly.

Pretty much, although it's fair to say I enjoyed his s/t quite a bit. He's got a new EP and I've heard good things about that too.

I think Bright Eyes is a pretty bad example for that. Digital Ash in a Digital Urn is completely different from Fevers and Mirrors which is different from Noise Floor and so on. Bad example.

Exactly how I feel. Fevers and Mirrors is it's own animal especially. The sound of his stuff in the last four years is dramatically different to the point where if you did not know the music you'd think it was two different artists.

I've heard I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning and a bunch of random other tracks from other albums. What I heard all sounded the same to me.
