Manilow was a genius songwriter out of Williasmburg Brooklyn-- paid all his
dues 1st as a jingle writer for commercials that we still hear today...collecting royalties like crazy his entire life:
some of his more "popular" songs are 30 second hits you've been
singing since a kid...some examples would be>>
1) "I am stuck on band-aids 'cause band-aids stuck on me...."
2) "Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there..."
3) "My baloney has a first name ..it's O S C A R ...."
