Jimmy Eat World are one of those bands that are hit and miss. When they're on they're on, but more often than not they don't quite deliver.

They're like Weezer, popular and quite mainstream, but by no means shitty.

More like a more credible, less boring Weezer, that happen to have a few terrible songs.

It's not a shame to like them, they've released a string of good albums. I got to see them at a festival nearly 4 years ago and they were good. Of all the bands that get labelled 'emo' they are prob the most respected and mature sounding.
