Default An album a year for each year you are alive

Simple really (or is it?). Choose your favourite album for each year you are on this mortal earth. It's a bit of fun but it may also throw up a few goodies for people. You can include compilations and live albums if you want to but only one artist.

Mine:

 Genesis -Foxtrot
 John Martyn-Solid Air
 King Crimson-Red
 Fela Kuti-Expensive Shit
 The Abyssinians-Satta Massa Gana
 Pink Floyd-Animals
AC/DC-If You Want Blood..You've Got It
 Joy Division-Unknown Pleasures
Swell Maps-...In 'Jane From Occupied Europe'
 The Durutti Column-LC
 Hawkwind-Choose Your Masques
 Clannad-Magical Ring
 Marillion-Fugazi
 Iron Maiden-Live After Death
 Slayer-Reign In Blood
 Prince-Sign 'O' The Times
 My Bloody Valentine-Isn't Anything
 Nomeansno-Wrong
 Fields Of The Nephilim-Elizium
 Cranes-Wings Of Joy
 Spahn Ranch-Spahn Ranch
 Swirlies-Blonder Tongue Audio Baton
 Senser-Stacked Up
 Tricky-Maxinquaye
 Beck-Odelay
 Mansun-Attack Of The Grey Lantern
 José Padilla-Souvenir
 Everything But The Girl-Temperamental
 Afterlife-Simplicity Two Thousand
Maudlin Of The Well-Leaving Your Body Map
Archive-You All Look The Same To Me
 Melt Banana-Cell Scape
 Mice Parade-Obrigado Saudade
 Porcupine Tree-Deadwing
Kayo Dot- Dowsing Anemone With Copper Tongue
 Bon Iver-For Emma, Forever Ago
 Nick Cave- Dig, Lazarus, Dig

Looking back on the list it seems to follow certain musical patterns and I am surprised at how mainstream it is at times. C'mon then. Get posting.

I love this idea, and great list to start off with Jackhammer! It's probably going to take me a while to come up with mine but I'm definitely doing this. I'll have to check out that Swirlies album. I really dig their music even though I've met Damon Tutunjian and think he's kind of a jackass.

This makes me feel old. I was in primary school in 1995.

And I take it you mean De-Loused rather than Bedlam.

I'm by no means a big fan of AC/DC but that is a pretty good balls to the wall live album.
