I'm talking about in the 90's etc... And there will surely be more stuff from the 00's that you find in a decade that you love then but didn't know of now.

As my tribute to the decade I'm doing 10 reviews of 10 albums from different genres that have been spawned in the noughties. Check out my journal, have one done so far, just awaiting approval.

I don't think it's been better or worse than any other decade.

I'm just harder to impress these days.

I don't think these new bands coming out are nearly as good as past decades. I mean, the 70s gave us the Ramones, the Misfits, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, and Rainbow. The 80s gave us Guns N Roses, Metallica (Hey, they were good back then!), Iron Maiden, and Overkill. The 90s, gave us Chris Cornell, Eddie Veder, and Kurt Kobane.

You know how when you get old guys have trouble getting it up... Well for Urban it's the same thing, only with music.

You're right, there's way less crappy grunge music this decade then there was in the 90s. Personally, I think that's a good thing.

As far as the popular scene goes no. But there is a lot of unnoticed underground talent.
