Streets of Sorrow/Birmingham Six - The Pogues
I've never heard this, I like it. Maybe I'll get something by them. Under the Boardwalk - The Drifters Awhh, I haven't heard this song in a long time. <3 Make It Easy On Your Self - Burt Bacharach Hm, I don't know if I like this or not... haha. Maybe I'll listen more and see if his voice grows on me, or not. Armagideon Time - The Clash It's okay, kind of boring. Joy Ride - The Killers I haven't heard any of The Killers' albums aside from Hot Fuss. I'll have to get more, I like this. |

The Who - Early Morning Cold Taxi: Nice enough, nothing i could get excited over though.
Talking Heads - Houses In Motion: I have to be in the mood for this album but when i am it really hits the spot. Caravan - Love To Love You (And Tonight Pigs Will Fly): S'alright, in the same boat as the Who song. Gal Costa - Cinema Olympia: I like the retro 60's sound, very Austin Powers Carl Orff - O Fortuna: Fucking hell, epic! I respect anyone who would casually listen to this. |

This is Piss Me Offs Libary, I couldn't find a link to classyladys.
Stevie Wonder - Higher Ground: Fantastic song, what more has to be said? The Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the Devil: I have always been quite undecided on the Rolling Stones, I had completely forgotten how lovely this gem was. Napalm Death - Instinct of Survival: I have never really been into Napalm Death, this song doesn't really change my opinion, sorry. Goldfrapp - Utopia: I have always liked Goldfrapp, I reall love this song though, and the rest of the stuff from Felt Mountain. Big Black - L Dopa: Very powerful song indeed, it's tugged on my curiosity. I'll have to download the album |

Super Furry Animals- Great great track. I'll give more of their work a listen. The Beach Boys-God Only Knows It's by the Beach Boys of course i love it! Grandaddy-He's Simple He's Dumb He's The Pilot I like the style, but It's been done a lot better. Nick Drake-Know It was okay, not terribley good or bad. It didn't really stand out. DeVotchKa-Twenty-Six Temptations I love me some DeVotchKa, but this one bored me. |

FaSho's liberry
Violent Femmes - Please Do Not Go Heard the name around, was good to catch some. I felt cheated as there were no femmes in the band to speak of . Still definitely up my alley, folky indie/punk. Mm. Acoustic bass solo! Sadistik - Playing God Sounded like Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park (yes I remember his name) in one of their 'deep' moments. But better obviously. 90% of contemporary white rapper's voices annoy me beyond reason, and this had some soppy keyboard string production which only worked against it... sawwy. The Smiths - Hand In Glove Stone cold classic from my favourite Smiths album by miles. Brings back memories! Johnny Cash - Don't Take Your Guns To Town Unfortunately Last.fm picked a really grainy old recording which doesn't flatter his booming voice... standard Cash really and not up there with my faves off San Quentin. System of A Down - ATWA This was a very nice surprise, I used to have this on CD but somehow lost it. I will rectify this immediately and read Lucifer_Sam's article as I listen. In school I didn't really take on board the lyrics at all, I just liked the fact they had hooks coming out of their arse. |

Moleclues beat me to FaSho's but as I had finished I may as well post them both.
FaSho Explosions In The Sky - Catastrophe and the Cure A band I frequently listen to myself. Love it. Goldfinger - Miles Away No. Sorry. Not my thing at all. Pop punk stuff generally doesnt interest me and this is the same. Awful lyrics too. Nirvana - Come As You Are I've never been a huge Nirvana fan to be honest but I can't argue that this song, and this album is decent to say the least. Good, just not something I ever CHOOSE to listen to. JamisonParker -Best Mistake Awful. Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine - Anytime Anyplace Anywhere I dont get this at all. Especially the vocals, they are God awful. Moleclues The Adverts - New Church Sounds like a lot of punk stuff from that era, nothing special about it or anything but it was decent enough. Jens Lekman - Rocky Dennis' Farewell Song Hmm, not doin anything for me. REM - Radio Free Europe Another fairly decent REM song that I wont necessarily criticise because theres not really anything wrong with it, but it wont convert me to the cause im afraid. The Young Knives - Rue The Days Whats with the "La la la" **** at the start? It sounds terrible. Harmless enough song but a little too mediocre for me. Lootpack - Crate Diggin' I'm not into much hip-hop and so I have time for any hip-hop I hear that I might like. I'm not sure if I like this enough to check an album out but maybe. I liked this. |

Helloween - Haloween Not really my thing at all, especially at 12 minutes. Jimi Hendrix - Who Knows It's Jimi, what else needs to be said? Great track, and one that I haven't heard much of at all. Testament - C.O.T.L.O.D. Not my thing, I can't really get into most metal. The Sabres of Paradise - Smokebelch II I liked this a lot. I've heard a bit of them but have never tried getting into them before. Iron Maiden - Prowler Never been a fan of Iron Maiden, this was ok but nothing special. |

Beck - Dead Melodies wasn't terrible. didn't like it, though, not a fan of his voice. Semisonic - Closing Time haha... i remember hearing this when i was younger. not my thing. The Beach Boys - Sloop John B couldn't enjoy this. Donavon Frankenreiter - Fool sounds familiar. not sure where i've heard it, but i don't like it; boring. James Brown - I Don't Mind i found this interesting since i'm not familiar with a lot of old music, but i wouldn't really listen to it. EDIT: had an extra one in there.. my bad |

CAPTAIN CAVEMAN's Library.
I'm using this post as a placeholder in case someone decides to do one before I get done. I'll edit after 5 songs. Oh, and JdGun’s Music Profile – Users at Last.fm Tera Melos- Melody 3 LOOOVE the drumline and Mellow guitar. I will definately look into em. Ooh do I love you- Cap'n Jazz Ummm...interesting. Singer reminds me of Less than Jake. Glen Branca- Light Field (in Consonance) I'm probably just ingorant of the genre but it felt like that violin line being beaten into my brain. I got sick of it halfway through, but I decided to listen to the whole thing. I'd probably like it if it weren't so damned long. Phoenix Bodies- You've been hamburgled OH GOD NO. Esmerine- History Repeating as One Thousand Hearts Mend FFFFFFF....Shiiva knows I'd get stuck with a 16+ minute instrumental song. I'm just not one who truly appreciates good quality timbre. Anyways, after six minutes of nearly all whole note cello and marimba, the violin comes in, things finally start to get a little more interesting. Nine minutes in it gets more percussive, which gave me a tad more patience with the track. Marimba melody 13 minutes in is actually very nice. Like the case with Glen, I think I would really like it if it were shorter, as it really got interesting near the end. And there we have it, 30+ expanding my musical horizon. I thank thee sir. Also According to last FM we have ZERO artists in common. Lol, doesn't surprise me, our tastes are definately different.
