The Dodos - "Fools" instrumentally wasn't specifically disagreeable but the vocals were mediocre; pretty boring. 4/10 The Velvet Underground - "Stephanie Says" "The Velvet Underground was a pioneering experimental rock band from New York City" it didn't sound very experimental to me. mind you i am not well-versed in music from this time period whatsoever... didn't enjoy it, couldn't hold my attention. 3/10 Arcade Fire - "My Body Is a Cage" i used to listen to this band a long time ago and never stuck with them long enough to hear this new material. don't think i missed out on much. 3/10 Rage Against the Machine - "Bulls on Parade" lol Lydia - "Sleep Well" typical "indie". didn't find anything about this song interesting. 1/10 |

Sun O))) "It Took The Night To Believe"
At last I hear this band. Certainly not something that I will want to hear again though. I can appreciate this kind of music but I can't enjoy it. Sorry. Naked City "Speedball" I've heard of this band but never listened to them. Wow, that was crazy. I like. Trap Them "Citizenihilist" The vocals reminded me of Graf Orlock but the music felt a little more focused, and I think I liked this better. I'll probably be looking into this band sometime soon. Very nice. 65daysofstatic "This Cat Is A Landmine" Oh, I know this song. From what I've heard of 65dos, it's my favorite. I should probably listen to this band more. They're very good at what they do. Fly Pan Am "Brulez, suivant suivante!" This is actually pretty cool. I've never heard anything like it and I would definitely listen to more. I like this man's taste in music. Too bad my 30 track trial is almost up. :( |
Tera Melos - Melody 1
Boring. 2/5 D.R.I. - Running Around Interesting. 3.5/5 AIDS Wolf - Relevant Issues Gross. 0.5/5 Me and Him Call It Us - Cut Throat Cardiac Arrest More of this. 4/5 Cap'n Jazz - Take On Me Worst cover of it I've heard, but it's kind of hard to make this song really bad. 3/5 EDIT: FU ALFIE, I WAS HERE FIRST. |

Billy Club- Lagwagon
Fun and catchy. No other comments. Probably not something I'd listen to but definately not bad. Walkin'- Ten foot poll eh. Probably last.fm refusing to play the good songs. Buffalo Gals- Every time I die. I liked the singer. But other than that meh. Go Away- Teenage Bottlerocket Kinda Ramonesey, I like it. One Brick- Aesop Rock Aesop Rock. <3. This is far from my favorite Aesop Rock song, but again I blame last.fm for not playing the good stuff. |

Deltron 3030-Time Keeps on Slipping i've heard some really good things about this band, and their s/t seems like an interesting venture. this song is a chill instrumental, and i can dig it. 4/5 System of a Down-QUESTION! My favorite SOAD song. and i have all their albums. tbh, i never got the hype over Toxicity. imo, it lacked a bit of the creativity in structure the band had with other releases. hell, i think even Mezmerize was better. anyways back to the song, both beautiful and brutal as well as just offbeat in a good way. 5/5 Rodney Crowell-Time to go Inward I've never really been into singer-songwriters. idk, while there are plenty of good ones, i haven't been that interested in lyrics or singing that much. even so, this song is pretty good, has a good folky edge to it. 3.5/5 MF Doom-Poo-Putt Platter hahaha i really like this, the use of samples is just ingenious. i should get some stuff by this guy. 5/5 Queen-God Save the Queen aww yeah, some Queen for the topper. Night at the Opera is a fantastic album, although A Day at the Races is my personal fave. |
