It just means that they're no longer in your music folder.
On Windows go to C documents, Music, iTunes, iTunes Music, and search for the artist and then the song. On Mac, just go to Music, iTunes, iTunes music and do the same. Since you deleted the songs, restore them from your trash bin and double-click the songs with the exclamation mark to "relocate song" and you should now be able to browse your library for the song again.

I don't think you can delete from playlists, you have to be viewing the actual library.

thats whats wrong,...it wont file them for you...you have to create a file, save, and then pull into itunes,....and if you move the folder later, it will do the same thing,...just sayin
