You know, unrelated but this reminds me, I find it weird how some people seem to equate lyrics with vocals, asif vocals aren't part of the song composition. Technically it is an instrument like any other anyways.

Sooo many great instrumentals.

I'll say my favorite is "Slaughter On 10th Avenue" by Mick Ronson.

Ronno released this (album of same name) shortly after leaving Bowie. He is the poster child for playing an economy of notes to get his point across. Very melodic.
