I'm new here...Just want some input.
I've made a move, I play 'n sing. Guitar (Rhythm / Lead|Solo), Bass, Drums...and some keyboard. I had a band, that represented what I was....but now...I'm joining a band playing simple guitar...but it's not what I "dream" of playing. Should I:
a. Continue playing, just using the band to advance my own selfish motives. b. Join the band, allowing the rest of the band, to know my musical preferences...allowing a chance for diversity...or not.. c. Quit....they don't know what the hell I'm capable of... d. Tell them what I'm looking for...then react based off of there responses. e. A combination of all of the above...only picking and choosing..? f. Fill in the blank |

If they don't have the same taste in music, it's not gonna work out very well for you. There's a lot of demand for people as talented as you (I think :\) so I don't think you'd have that much trouble getting into another band. Just give your current band a bit of a chance first.

Thanks turboduck17, appreciate the compliment. I'm gonna stick with this for now, I think some good can come from this...expanding my musical horizon.
