I've been dragging out some of my old 80's metal albums for a giggle (and the odd gem). Also this:
Future Foe Scenarios and Rusted Wheel are such good tracks.

I have been rediscovering a rather oddball band from the 80's called Pineapples From The Dawn Of Time. I found out that they had re-released their one and only album Shocker on CD this year so I went out and spent the dollars today. An odd satire of 60's psychedlia that is good fun to listen to occasionally.

![]() ![]() And most other Zappa albums tbh, I often play and play and play them, I never actually get sick of Zappa, I just tend to start wanting to play something different. And so I do my little cycle, Zappa inspires prog, prog inspires some heavier rock, that inspires black metal, and black metal in turn inspires some more zappa.
