yeah, soulseek is the best i've found, especially if you're looking for anything remotely rare. eMule is the best for full albums tho. I never use KaZaa or Morpheus, Limewire or WinMX... i've tried them all, none as good as soulseek and eMule. BTW, if you want to stay safe, use a program called PeerGuardian, easiest way... it blocks all the IP's of the RIAA and all those types of agencies... google for it...

I use bearshare...and I don't share anything...but I'm not afraid of spyware as I have a seperate computer that I download them onto and if I get any adware/spyware/malware I just wipe the disk and start again...

havent had one yet, been using it for awhile. Keep an eye on what youre downloading, and make sure to keep your anti-virus **** current and you shouldnt have any problems.

^ Oh.
I always think that getting a virus off a peer to peer is either to do with luck or human error. There must be a way of telling whether something comes with a virus, as viruses aren't usually hard to find with something like that (where you can see the file) Spyware will always be a problem. But alot of people don't know what spyware is...it was originally made for programs that you can only use for a certain period of time and they're the things that stop you using it. When downloading they can easily pass through. all said and done the signs of spyware are easy to spot and it's easy to remove (ad-aware, spy bot, or the new microsoft remover) Oh and the viruses don't come from Kazaa itself but from the people you're sharing files with and stuff as it makes you visable to hackers and people who'll send you viruses. It's like if you have a firewall, makes you invisable and if you have Kazaa people can see you clearly...(Sorry for the length I just felt the need to type.

I just downloaded Limewire. I have slowspeed, cable internet, and limited memory, but it has worked pretty good I must say. I just run both Adaware and Spybot at the end of a day of using it...plus ppl can chat you on Limewire, so that's pretty cool!
