There are not only worse songs, but worse songs that are just as overplayed and well known. Who Let the Dogs Out, Achy Breaky Heart, We Built This City on Rock n Roll, the Macarina, every single Foreigner ever put out, etc. |

Rammstein - Du Hast and FOB - Sugar We're Going Down
I hate both with the fiery intensity of a thousand noonday suns. :@ My sister listened to her FOB CD so much that I was forced to take matters into my own hands and snap it in half. Oh. Also, The Ramones - Rock 'n Roll High School D: |

"achy breaky heart".. mm.. let me think about that one.. doesn't annoy me I think. Neither does "we built this city".. they're fun. stupid, but fun nonetheless. I don't care for these I just wanted to actually listen to bohemian rhapsody again right now, so I searched for it on youtube and the first result reads as a description: "the greatest song ever written" maybe that's the missing point: it's popular, you can't help but hear it quite often (as said before) + it's also considered by so many to be the greatest song the whole world has come up with I think for people like me, who don't like it, that makes it even more annoying. No one could seriously think "who let the dogs out" was a masterpiece objectively (I hope), but "bohemian rhapsody" lays claim to that title. It deserves to be more critically acclaimed than "macarena", but people behave like that song was sacred, and I'm like wtf? So, now that I listened to it again, I even have to admit I like that one part starting where Mercury shrieks "for meeeeeeeee" and than the short guitar solo comes next, but still I'd call it my most annoying & therefore most hated song #2 - and in the end it's an emotional judgement PS: as a foreign I have never heard of the word "appalling" before, looked it up, and agreed. but I don't know in which context the word is normally used in by native speakers, so never mind - maybe it's to much and you're right about that case closed hahaha Last edited by iksosept; 01-15-2009 at 05:22 PM.
