Which reminds me, Rick Astley's 'Never Gonna Give You Up' is definitely one of the most twee, vapid and frankly appalling excuses for 'song' I've ever heard. And all those Rick Rolls you'll find on the 'tube piss me drives me nuts too

Recently I saw someone had in their sig line (different forum) a pie chart of all the things Rick Astley's never gonna do to you. Made me laugh.

Oh god yes. I hate that song.

I also feel the same way about "Wind Beneath My Wings" by Bette Mildler. Where's the puking smiley when you need it?

Bohemian Rhapsody is absolutely appalling.

There're artists out there that express their frustration far better and more constructive than Ice "kill the bitches" Cube.

What makes you think NWA were seriously endorsing those things? Do you think Slayer seriously endorses serial killing and nazism and whatnot? I think both are just examples of people trying to make hard-edged music with appropriately hard-edged lyrics. I don't take it particularly seriously. I'm pretty sure Ice Cube has a degree in architecture, he's not actually some violent gangsta.

"I'll be missing you" by Piffy Duffus featuring the ex of his "best mate" who he can't believe he ain't there and it's hard for him to wake up,it's hard to just keep goin, and he would do anythin to bring him back,he'd give all this ****, **** the whole knot...

stupid,insulting and a piece of sh*t

I think appalling is a little strong. Sure it is overwrought, ridiculously bombastic and OTT but they at least they subverted the classic pop song structure. I myself am not a huge fan but it is far from appalling. Annoying, overplayed and overhyped-definitely. Appalling. Sorry I can't agree.

No it's definitely appalling.

Seriously. Bohemian Rhapsody is appalling. I'd rather listen to 80s pop all day than that song once.

I'm not a fan of country music in the slightest to begin with...but I had a friend who played this song over and over and over and over again when it came out. I came *this* close to putting his head through a wall (in place of my own). :banghead:

Yeah...this song is horrible.

This is my #1 most hated song. I will leave any place I am where this song is being played.
