Agreed. I've really tried to like Muse, but they just aren't good.

/facepalm

They are that good, and Green Day is the worst pop-punk I've ever heard besides perhaps Bowling for Soup

Poker Face by Lady Gaga... I'd like to poker face... with my fist.

Never call Green Day pop-punk. :bringit:

Muse and Green Day are both terrible, but saying one is worse than other is like arguing whether or not orange juice is better microwaved or broiled.

An online arguement is like the Special Olympics, whether you win or lose, you're still retarded...

For some reason, I always wince when I hear "What I Am" by Edie Brickell. I don't know what it is about that song that I absolutely can't stand. Her voice, the words...I don't know. I just know I hate it.

Today, my school had a little talent show, and after it was over I've officially decided that I hate slow songs, with a small, shy girl on vocals with piano accompaniment. Those songs seem to drone on forever and then the next one drones right into the next one and then a ska band from my school performs and wakes me up just in time for another shy girl with a generic love story to sing with piano accompaniment to perform.

I mean, I try to be respectful, I try to understand that many girls love that beatiful love song, and some of them are actually good singers. But after the 15th one, I just get tired of it. But of course, as soon as one girl hears me telling my friends how there were "too many love songs with piano accompaniment", somehow a girl hears my conversation and I get that "you are a typical male with no senstitivity and lacks all forms of taste and maturity that also smells" look.

/rant over.

I wouldn't say they are terrible, I used to like Green Day many ages ago. Muse is pretty good for a mainstream band that gets alot of radioplay.

But yeah, I can understand why one would get really annoyed with them. The constant music videos, seeing their albums all over store shelves, hearing people talk so highly of them, ect, ect. Gets irritating after a while.

What's wrong with calling them what they are?
