i'm going to have to disagree with that

a lot of people
me included
hated 'rap'
and didn't really know what hip-hop was

enter timbaland

i hear a song that's is definitely rap
but there's a really catchy melody to it too

i'm intrigued and find out all about the song

along with beginning to look around at the state of the art in music these days

if rap has changed THAT much
what else am i missing?

that's what brought me here to MB

How did i not know this? I'm guessing Innocence was one of them, at least it wasn't like his normal dirge.
