Am I the only one that knows "Clapton is God" is a popular saying misspelled in the kid's name?... anyhow.
Clatonisgod, I, too, am a classic rock fan. Though there's a fair few I disagree with on your list. In fact, a lot of them don't even deserve to be there. That's just my opinion... but, I can't even fathom sitting here and picking out my Top 25 Songs of All Time... That's just too general. That would take lists, and time, and... ****. |

Sure I wouldn't mind 50 "year 2008" cents, lol. The thing about those songs is that kids are still getting into them even now - you still hear them trying to play the intro to stairway to heaven all the time in guitar center. So clearly there is something about them that crosses generational boundaries.

Ok the clatonisgod thing is a typo i can not go back not alright i am not a idiot wait that is not true well anyway most of the time i am not a idiot wait never mind i am still lying. And the clapton is god was spry painted on the side of a barn in london and new york. Now all people under 16 like is rap and it is sad wen you see a 7 year old white kid that acts like he is a gangster and lives in thee hood wen at the same time plays base ball i mean come on i live in richmond i should know. What is with murdering thugs running around like diddy and 50 "cent"(cents) being adored they don't even have any musical skill and they are rich as hell a large amount of them are in jail or dead.

that's a lovely prejudiced generalization you've got going about young people. the sooner you can drop it the sooner you'll learn about music that exists beyond the tv, radio, old man's collection. who cares what a 7 year old does, unless you're their parent it's a non-issue. people have the freedom to like things that 'suck' as much as they want. if you don't like it then ignore it. no one wants to hear someone whining about how much another demographic sucks because they have different tastes. |
