probably me... i understand what he sees, but the strokes were my favorite band throughout high school, radiohead is my favorite, and neutral milk hotel was mentioned to me by a friend while i was listening to the decemberists before i was aware of any online music communities or its cult following... i had dial up internet at home until about 7 months ago (roflroflrofl)

if that's what you wanna label me then w/e, animals is the only album on that list which other people's recommendations got me into it
