Tracks:
1) For Tomorrow
My fav Blur song and such a simple yet catchy chorus
2) Tender
How can you not love the choir one this?
3) Coffee & TV
Graham's urn to shine
4) On Your Own
The old Blur and new one make a great song
5) Chemical World
I can have this stuck in my head all day, love the drums & the watery guitar.

Album:
Modern Life is Rubbish
One of the best albums to come out of the 90's and probably the best to come out of britpop.

Thoughts

I used to be a huge fan of Blur in the mid-90s. I thought they were a great, catchy pop band. I can remember listening to their albums a ton. Over the years, I've found their albums less and less interesting. Overall, I think their music isn't very lasting, but it's quite strong and enjoyable for a while. I still think a handful of their songs are really cool to listen to. I think they were overrated though, as Teenage Fanclub, Suede and Pulp were superior to them from the same era.

Blur remind us of the days of the Kinks and Small Faces with a little smidgen of Sex Pistols while encompassing a fresh approach to their unique power/pop/punk plateau. Harmless witty pop that has bite.

Blur? Are you serious? As much as I can connect with Damon Albarn, I'm able to recognize that Britpop in general wasn't that good. Compared to its post-punk roots and the Roses, Britpop is an absolute fucking stain on England's history.

David Bowie, then Blur. What's next?

What's wrong with Bowie? :(
