1. Pop Scene 2. Yuko And Hiro 3. Country House 5. Parklife 4. The Universal Album: Parklife Similar Artists: Fool's Garden Pulp Thoughts I used to be a huge fan of Blur in the mid-90s. I thought they were a great, catchy pop band. I can remember listening to their albums a ton. Over the years, I've found their albums less and less interesting. Overall, I think their music isn't very lasting, but it's quite strong and enjoyable for a while. I still think a handful of their songs are really cool to listen to. I think they were overrated though, as Teenage Fanclub, Suede and Pulp were superior to them from the same era. |
1.
Parklife (Parklife) The Universal (The Great Escape) On Our Own (Blur) I'm Just A Killer For your Love (Blur) Look Inside America (Blur) 2. Best Album Blur - Blur ...Not a filler on the whole wax. 3. Similar Artists: Pulp Menswear 4. Blur remind us of the days of the Kinks and Small Faces with a little smidgen of Sex Pistols while encompassing a fresh approach to their unique power/pop/punk plateau. Harmless witty pop that has bite. |
Blur? Are you serious? As much as I can connect with Damon Albarn, I'm able to recognize that Britpop in general wasn't that good. Compared to its post-punk roots and the Roses, Britpop is an absolute fucking stain on England's history.
David Bowie, then Blur. What's next? |
