I think Interpol's lyrics are less obvious. :\

Stella's probably my second favorite after Leif Ericson. I really love that song for some reason.
I dont have any of their other albums but from what I heard they arent worth the listen. Also Obstacle 1 is great, the reason I bought the album actually.

Interpol's alright, but I still acknowledge that they're diet joy division.

And as far as girlfriends with bad taste in music-music is such a huge part of my life that I wouldnt be able to date someone who listens to ****. Biggest turn off ever, other than poop or fat or fat poop.

My last girlfriend had pretty good taste in music, actually. She liked stuff like Warren Zevon, Nick Cave, Jill Sobule, Voltaire, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, and she was reasonably open to new stuff as well.

I had a boyfriend who would only listen to Kottonmouth Kings. He actually threw one of my Arctic Monkeys cd's out the window as we were driving.

The relationship didn't last.

But he seems like he was such a tolerant, easy-to-get-along-with young man...
