Yeah... I've never heard of roots. The closest to rap with real instruments I've seen is Limp Bizkit (Nu / Rap Metal) and Linkin Park (A real abomination).

I think Limp Bizkit is more of an abomination than Linkin Park. But that's just me. =/

I am not sure, but the only Afroman i have heard was REALLLY simple so thats not saying much.
