Led Zeppelin: No, I don't really have much respect for them and I don't even like them much.
Joy Division: Yeah, they're one of my favorite bands and they're influential, etc. Elliott Smith: Yes, I typed up why in the nomination thread and don't really feel like trying to summarize that. The Beatles Yeah for obvious reasons. King Crimson Yes, I don't paticularly like them but they're pretty representative of MB's taste. Wu-Tang Clan Yeah they're nuthin to fuck wit. The Velvet Underground Yes for obvious reasons. |

Led Zeppelin - No, they do not deserve to be in the hall of fame. I really don't understand why they get as much hype as they do. You want to put a blues rock artist in here then put Hendrix in.
Joy Division - Hell yes. Easily one of my favorite bands. Catchy riffs, influential, passionate, and Ian Curtis's lyrics and voice make me shed a tear. Elliott Smith - No. As much as I like him, he is not hall of fame material. The Beatles - I shouldn't have to explain this... King Crimson - TCOTCK is one of my favorite albums and I love Fripp. Probably the best prog band. Wu-Tang Clan - Not really that good of a hip-hop band so no. The Velvet Underground - Obvious influence on experimental music. BTW, hopefully Frank Zappa was nominated. The guy freaking influenced the Beatles. |

Led Zeppelin: Yes. I find them a bit overrated, but I still love their music.
Joy Division: Yes. I love their two studio albums and Substance. Elliott Smith: Yes. I love everything I've heard by him. The Beatles: Yes. Duh. King Crimson: Yes. One of my favorite prog bands. Wu-Tang Clan: Yes. One of my favorite rap groups. The Velvet Underground: Yes. I like them. All yes! Whoo!

Led zeppelin: No they have 5 good songs at best and are not the be all and end all of the genre at that period
Joy Division: Yes one of the greatest minimalist bands ever. possibly the two best albums post-punk produced Elliott smith: undecided i havent listened to enough..which i am now rectifying The beatles: NO overrated in the extreme, of course a huge influence on popular music. not as groundbreaking as people seem to want to believe and far too many songs that donot reach beyond the novelty. King crimson: Yes a genuinely listenable and interesting prog band WOW! Wu-tang clan: NO one album isnt enough and while i love that album...there are better The velvet underground: Yes an influence easily as big as the beatles...and they made interesting pop songs

Led Zeppelin - Definitely, easily one of the best rock acts of all time.
Joy Division - Yes, The defining post punk band, and ian curtis wrote some of the best lyrics of all time. Elliott Smith No. While some of the music he made was very well done, he just isnt all that amazing. The Beatles Yes, the best pop band of all time, and pioneers of the british invasion. no other band has more influence than them. King Crimson no, while one of their albums may be incredibly good, the rest of their career lacks. Wu-Tang Clan no, While they may be an incredible group and released some of the great rap albums, they do not deserve to be hailed as one of the greatest groups of all time. The Velvet Underground Yes, they released four of the greatest albums of all time, and although their last effort was not as memorable, they still deserve to be hailed as one of the greatest bands of all time.
