His crap songs definatley outweigh his good songs, but he has some insanely good tracks. Especially ones that were pre-tha carter 3

That I agree with. I think the reason he has become so big is solely because he has a few very good songs (and i mean a FEW) and because he collaborates with rappers who actually know what there doing.
