And all of them sucked.

Buckethead is different - he's a compositional genius...not some washed-up grunge-era band that's somehow still selling albums.

I saw Buckethead with Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains a couple years ago and walked away with the impression that he was an annoying guitar wanker in the vein of Vernon Reid. The two albums of his that I've heard since then have done nothing to dispel my feelings on the subject. Is there a specific album that I should listen to that better reflects his compositional genius side?

A few of the albums I have are pretty good. His early stuff actually employed stuff other than his crazy guitar.

Decoding the Tomb of Bansheboot and Crime Slunk Scene are REALLY good.
