Default Question on a Genre

Ok, so there's this song I like. I like most of Linkin Park's stuff, but the first track on their album Reanimation was really cool. It's called Opening and it's really light mellow violin-type piano music or something, i'm not really sure. I was wondering if anyone knew what type of music this was, and how i could find something similar. The violin intro and the orchestrated stuff was really cool, as well as the mellow piano that kind of plays in the background. It's really good for work, in my opinion. Any ideas?

Well I'd have to listen to it to tell you, and I'm not a willing participant because it's Linkin Park.

James Newton Howard, all the way as far as soundtracks are concerned.

You could also check out some classical music.

Try some Thomas Tallis. It's just voices and is harmonically more complex but the feel's similar.
