it was more in asthetic perception. Keef keeps the stones grounded from taking off into ridiculous stupidity in my opinion. As we've seen, without the Slahsh-anchor, Gun's is trying to be a NIN/Queen combo.

I don't think its a good thing. Musically, Slash was the main event in Guns N Roses, and Izzy was the one that held everything together.
Now they have Ron Thal (a super shredder and virtuoso) on guitar, Robin Finck (Nine Inch Nails) on guitar, Tommy Stinson (The Replacements) on bass and Brain Mantia (Primus) on drums, not a bad ensemble. But it ain't GnR. Last edited by boo boo; 07-13-2007 at 09:49 AM. |
