Axl is certainly a distinctive vocalist - way too many bands sound derivative in respect of vocals. GnR always had the recipe for an all time great band, but left the world thinking "wtf happened?".

Like many other performers, he's eccentric, a bit of an egotist idiot etc etc, but stands out above the humdrum...

Default Chinese Democracy finaly has a release date

Yes, Axl's long awaited album will be released this year, apparently on the 6th March. The track list still hasn't been confirmed and it's not really a Guns ablum. Since Axl bought the Guns franchise he could've made a solo album and still used the Guns 'N Roses logo and name. The band members constantly changed, people quit because time was going in, with no money going into pockets.
Only ten tracks are confirmed so far. Seven other tracks were recorded but it's unclear whether they're going on the album or not.
Last time I checked it cost $13 million dollars to create, thats a record, just better not flop, or Axl is gonna get a big 'OWNED' from Slash. It NEEDS to go platinum just to keep up with Velvet Revolver, and it probably will.
So who's gonna by 'CD' when its released?

I will download it. If it's worth buying, which I doubt, I will purchase it 2nd hand.

well from what i read on a site, Axl apparently said
"We thought we were so badass," he said in the greenroom at the VMAs. "Then N.W.A. came out rapping about this world where you walk out of your house and you get shot. It was just so clear what stupid little white-boy poseurs we were. It was like, 'All right, we can give up the act.' If you're talking about which lifestyle is more hard-core, the one where you get shot always wins."

theres the link to it as well

so i have a feeling, it will suck by i will probably still buy it

What does a hardcore lifestyle gotta do with whether an album will be good? Do you like Tupac? He got shot. You should dig his music. He was hardcore.

im not a huge fan of rap, but the thing is to me it probably wont be to good just cause the fact that im not huge for rap and i liked the classic GNR, i dont want to see it change damn it!, but who knows it might turn out great and i might really enjoy it, but like i said, i dont expect to be that good, they need Slash back, and then no matter what it will probably pretty good
