i think thats pretty well on the spot, when he was on there wasnt very many that could come close to him. he is/was pretty much the posterboy for rock frontmen with the attitude, look, aggression..the way R&R is supposed to be.

You don't have to be on a pretensious "high horse" to say that Axl Rose is sh*t.
My neighbor is a diehard GNR fan, and he can't stand Axl. When he saw them he said Axl was the biggest prick and left in the middle of the show. What a great frontman :rolleyes:

On top of him being a prick he's voice is grating and his lyrics are range from pretty horrid to average.

^He was one of the better 80s hair metal lyricists.

Because being a frontman isn't about how well you perform on stage or anything as miniscule as that.

You obviously can't perform well on stage when you don't even stay for the whole show.

Which still isn't saying much. :-\
