Yeah but then they would have fallen apart somehow, even if it wasnt Axl's doing. Its better that they went out with an impact that kept people talking for ages than just fading away into the background... Worked for Nirvana and such, right?

True... But then in Nirvana's case its gotten too far. I think GnR's ending has pretty much the right amount of impact. Its not why people get into the band, its just a plus if you care enough to listen, I guess..

Hmm, Ive lost sight of the point I was trying to make.

So yeah, long story short, Axl was good for GnR.

Haha I tuned out for most of this page until that last line Artist. Point taken

Yes I agree, GnR wouldn't be GnR without arse-hole Axl. But he wasn't thaaaat bad...

Default New GnR

Yeah well like every year since 1995, Axl's promised us the Chinese Democracy, and every year since 1998 we've gone "yeah right."

Today im riding around listening to WBCN (which is sister to KROQ) and the DJ's like "I gat the new GnR comin down the pipe" and im like "whoa really"

He plays it and im telling you, it was pretty damn good. It's called IRS and im pretty sure this means you illegal downloaders can find it on the internet somewhere.

I know its going to be trendy and the brand new posture to say "this sucks axl should get with slash or hang it up" but ignore them, this song is pretty solid.

i ahven't heard it..

but a few days ago i heard about the new GNR album is do out soon enough..

i have no doubt that Axls voice is still rocking. BUT! i don't agree with him still useing the GNR name, even tho the rest of the guys gave up the rights to the name of the band just to get him out of there lives. but even still i find it rather dis-respectful.. becuase its like he thinks he made that band what it was, and he didn't.. they all made that band great.. and as good as axl is as a singer he shouldn't use GNR as the bands name....

GNR i'm sorry is and or should be resting in peace. !
