Default Hi, How Are You?

I searched and searched for a Daniel Johnston thread but I couldn't find one... though I expect there has already been one created.

However, I got into him a while back, through Beck's cover of 'True Love Will Find You In The End'. I had no knowledge of his history, his mental illness or anything like that. After listening to his lyrics and being dumbstruck by how simple yet honest they were, I decided to learn more about him via the wonders of wikipedia. And now his songs just mean so much more. He's one of those rare artists that have such a connection with the listener, that you feel like you actually know him.

Personal favourites include 'The Monster Inside of Me', 'Story of an Artist', 'Some Things Last a Long Time' and the aforementioned 'True Love Will Find You In The End'.
