99 : "IRONIC" RETRO T-SHIRTS WORN BY PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO INTEREST IN THE BAND ON THEM.

Like this vacant airhead celebrity pictured above one of my ex-girlfriends owned a Motorhead t-shirt even thought she didn't even like the band.

I remember a few years ago during the row when Alex Ferguson wrapped a football boot around David Beckhams head. Everybody was going on about it and all I can remember was seeing him pictured in a t-shirt with The Cult's Electric album on it thinking to myself 'That guy listens to the Cult about as much as I listen to his wife'.

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing an interview in which he was talking about how much the album and its overriding message meant to him.

yeah but sometimes crap bands make awesome looking shirts though.

It's almost like I'd buy a mighty ducks hat but screw the team.....they suck imo. Especially since i'm a Red Wings fan ....but the red wings logo isn't that appealing to me so I never buy their merch.

I remember when I was in high school everyone was wearing A.F.I t-shirts, even the jocks...and this was even before they were on a major label.

I remember when I was learning how to play guitar and I saw that video where puffy daddy's pretending to play a les paul, while I was playing an acoustic where the bridge was glued on with elmer glue. That's another piss off.

Ironic covers by so-cal punk bands.

Talking Heads, nu-metal, classic rock facist dads, gene simmons, van halen,
