Same here. Apparently there is even a genre called 'Clowncore' that is reliant upon yep u guessed it-fairground/carnival music. Sound's great does'nt it?

Yuck. Sounds like there's an Insane Clown Posse connection there, that's surefire bet that I'd hate it.

I don't 4 words is excessive but I listen to a bunch of emo and they're much worse at this. I think fragments are the annoying ones. Meanwhile Back in Communist Russia, And So I Watch from Afar, Of Sinking Ships, As the Poets Affirm, etc etc...

97 : DRUM SOLOS

Showing off your paradidles for 10 minutes quite frankly doesn't impress me.

Playing them with your head or your testicles would however impress me.

Bear that in mind the next time you ruin a concert by boring the pants of everybody in the time that you could add 2 or 3 songs to your set list that people would actually enjoy hearing instead.

I think long band names are the natural result of there being so many band names that are already taken. So it's either long names or names with numbers in them, and I definitely prefer something like "Explosions in the Sky" over something like "Blink-182".

Yes! I went to a Ween show this past winter that was great until the 15 minute drum solo at the end. Who the hell goes to a Ween show to hear the drummer anyway?

You must be starting with the safe ones, noone has gotten pissy at what's made the list yet.
