True, especially if it's a harp. Fortunately, as boo boo pointed out and you ignored, in Roger Waters' case it's his excellent song writing that he's known for.

Well yes. But I still have a code where if I feel a musician has talent and has worked hard to get where he/she is, then that musician is worthy of some respect, regardless of how much I hate the music. The fact of the matter is, that person has worked very hard to achieve the level of skill he or she has. Nobody is just born with it, if you have it, you worked for it, and thus I admire your efforts.

However, if I think an artist makes awful music in addition to having no real talent at all, then that person is fair game for me. I don't care if she's experimental. Anyone can be experimental, that alone doesn't earn a musician my admiration.

All these nu-metal/metalcore people who think they are trve metal and they don't know any metal from 1970-2000 except Metallica. This one guy is like "You listen to metal, dude?" Ans as I'm about to answer, he adds on "You know, like Korn, Disturbed, Papa Roach?". I don't even answer him. He also thinks Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Motorhead and Megadeth all suck. I hate my area.

I actually find it hard to believe that such people still even exist.

I've always had the impression that there were a lot of them in the Missouri/Tennessee area. Do you find that to be the case?

I think it was in Canada too, but I'm not sure what that would have to do with anything. There is nothing that links Canada and pot.. it's not Amsterdam here..haha.
