"Alternative" became anything but in the 1990s. Almost every mainstream band seemed to get tagged with that. I didn't hear a ton of Del Amitri, but what I did (like "Roll To Me") seemed to fit in with the other bands I mentioned.

I can play your video in the post, so i'm not sure what song it is.
Is it just my PC that can't play it, it's just solid white.

Yeah but it is not really an alternative sound. In Britain they were just another safe middle of the road rock band. Shamefully I like a couple of their tracks
