I know this is hard to believe but I have still not heard one single piece of music by Doherty. It is 80% intentional and 20% luck. Surely I must be in a minority?

I own both Libertines albums and both Babyshambles (CD-R format)albums and I had no idea who Pete Doherty was. I heard his name mentioned by the British press but I didn't make any connection until recently.

I've been exposed to him only through transitive property--my brother used to take special pains to listen to Babyshambles. I have...never expressed a desire to listen to him.

Babyshambles are okay, Pete seemed to have better lyrics with the Libertines but that was probably because he wrote them with Carl, But I have to admitt I love Pete's voice.
