Can noone come up with any? The reason I'm asking is because my first son was born Sept. 14 with complications and has been in Riley's Hospital for Children ever since. And probably will be there for a few more months at least. Needless to say, it's been hard. But I wanted to make a cd dedicated to my son and all I could think of that would be good to put on it so far is:
Creed - With Arms Wide Open Lynard Skynrd - Simple Kind of Man I'm stuck... almost any genre of music would be good. Could I get some opinions, please? |

no offense, but perhaps you should have more important things to think/worry about (i.e. your first born son) rather than a CD which he will not comprehend for years (and probably will never appreciate).
I couldnt disagree more...it has been over 2 months...im sure he has worried his ass off...im sure his son would appreciate it. i cant think of any songs now, but ill keep it in mind. Sorry about your son though. Good luck.

Well, oi, I know what you mean. But it's really for me and his mother... and I can't be with him. We live 4 hours away and I can't be with them much. Only on the weekends... Work...
But the cd would be more ummm, inspirational, i guess, for me and his mom. Hehe, and oi, no offense, but do you suffer from split personality? You seem to contradict yourself a little there. That's a great idea rise above... I like to write songs and stuff. I'll write one for him and post it, just lyrics, and tell me what you guys think. It'll prolly be awhile before I get back on here. Don't have much time to check boards... But thanks guys. He's doing much better now, BTW. But will still be at least a month before he even has a chance to come home... |

But thanks nonetheless. My son, Joey, is doing better BTW. One of his problems was diaphragmatic pulsey. They performed a surgery on him that wouldn't fix the problem, but help it. He's breathing easier now and he's putting on weight. But will still probably be months before he has a chance to come home... :\ |
