The Residents' God In Three Persons is pretty overblown, considering the whole thing follows the stress scheme of Poe's The Raven, the lyrics basically try to sum up life, sex and religion, and the whole thing is made by people who don't even know how to play instruments but are expert studio manipulators. Add to that the fact that it's absolutely brilliant and I'd say it fits pretty well.

Love The Residents. The Commercial Album is a brilliant piece of pop art.

Their deconstructivist covers of classic rock n roll songs are brilliant.
