Edit: I noticed you picked Nevermind as 1991's best album. But Bleach, In Utero, and Unplugged are superior. Nevermind is good, but highly overrated.

Some of my favorite '70s albums. I'm starting to think the '70s might actually be 2nd favorite decade for music. I unfortunately haven't listened to enough '70s albums to make a full year by year breakdown, but here's what I have so far.
