I can't find anything after 2000. I'm not interested in rap, jive, hip hop, etc., I do not consider it music. Poetry, perhaps, in a stretch. Mostly it's just chunk-a-chunk.
Tried several tunes mentioned here so far, only one I liked was Gregory Isakov. Lots of great stuff is on sale after 2000, but invariably they are tunes from the 50's to the late 90's. Now I'm off to check out Isakov's stuff. Try: Electric Light Orchestra Chris Isaak, Dave Edmunds, Ray Charles ABBA Buddy Holly, The Kinks, Leonard Cohen, Los Lobos, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Mac Wiseman, Moody Blues, Merle Haggard, Nazareth, Neal Young, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Otis Redding, Rolling Stones, The Who, Pretenders, R.E.M., Randy Newman, The Drifters, Slim Whitman, Stanley Brothers, Steve Winwood, Steve Miller, Toby Keith, Tom Petty, Traveling Wilburys, Warren Zevon, Wayland Jennings, Willie Nelson, Yardbirds, ZZ Top.................. Cheap Trick Creedence Clearwater Revival Deke Leonard, Delfonics, Leadbelly, Desmond Deker, Crystals, Dells, Platters, Ben E. King, Chuck Berry Delaney & Bonnie Dire Straits Emmy Lou Harris Enya, Don Henley, Prince, The Eagles, Elton John, Fats Domino, Fleetwood Mack, George Thorogood, Gram Parsons, Hank Snow, The Hollies, Jackson Brown, Roy Orbison, Jim Carroll Band, Jim Kweskin, John Fahey, Johnny Cash.............
