Which ATDI album is best to start with? There seemed to be some considerable debate in the thread on the metal forum.

At The Drive-In?

Relationship Of Command is their best, but In/Casino/Out is excellent too, and I'd recommend going with that one first (assuming you want to explore their discography). It doesn't matter though, I heard ROC first. Either one is a good choice.

Keep in mind that both albums are different. Relationship Of Command is a lot more intense than In/Casino/Out. If you don't like one, still try the other.

Relationship of Command was pretty good, I think I like most of my Mars Volta a little bit better, but still good. I'll listen to In/Casino/Out tomorrow sometime.

Well, this seems obvious, and you probably already know these guys, but:

Stevie Ray Vaugn: YouTube - Stevie Ray Vaughan-Pride And Joy

Eric Clapton: YouTube - Eric Clapton - Cocaine

Blues Traveler: YouTube - Blues Traveler - Carolina Blues

I know a lot of people on here don't like John Mayer, but he's done a lot of good blues guitar too. He played with Clapton quite a bit.

YouTube - Eric Clapton & John Mayer play for the victims of Katrina
