Hey. I'm no expert, but try jailhouse rock with alot of slow improvisation to make the long instrumental fills.
or Boom Boom Boom by um....John Lee Hooker. Just Try Some Blues Improvisation. It works. Ya know. Just a B flat E flat F deal. |

Try Leviathan's The Tenth Sub Level of Suicide, it's quite possibly the scariest black metal ever, but it's so moody that it would be exactly what you want. Think demons wailing in misery while being tortured by the creatures in the final circle of hell. All encapsulated by the soundtrack that would undoubtedly play at the end of the world.
OR you could be a gay and listen to some emo
