A bit vague, I know, but I need some good electronic instrumental music. Something to listen to whenever I'm in that kinda mood apart from Tangerine Dream. Any ideas?

William Orbit's Strange Cargo series
Solaris O.S.T
Vangelis
Solo Tangerine Dream works (Klaus Schulze/Christopher Franke)

Go Krautrock :
Ash Ra Tempel (correct spelling)

I have ton of balearic chillout which incorporates dance which you may or may not like.

Theme From A Summer Place by Percy Faith ... one of the most beautiful pieces of easy listening music you will hear ... it was even number 1 in the US for 6 weeks!

Vday Indie Playlist

I am going to be getting my gf an iPod for Vday and I would like to put together a playlist for it that expresses my feelings for her. We have been dating for about three months and are very much in love. She has introduced me into the indie scene and im absolutely loving it. However, I don't know em all and would like some suggestions for some good songs that express new love, starting of a good relationship, devotion, etc. Anyone out there that could help me to get started on my quest to impress would be greatly appreciated!

Oh yeah, some of her favorites are Okkervil River, Interpol, The Stars, Cloud Cult, Broken Social Scene.

Recommendations noted :thumb: As for the Balearic chillout, I'm into my fare-share of the more laid back, night-music kinda stuff. Anyone you'd particularly recommend?

Any of the Cafe Del Mar series are really good or the Real Ibiza series from React records. Both these series eschew the usual commercial pap and bring small and world artists to the table. If you have trouble you know where to come :D

PenguinHater - I hope that girl recognises what you are doing for her - if my wife bought me an Ipod for Vday, I'd throw her another wedding, to confirm she is the greatest person on this green earth!
